Jacky Cheung 1/2 century concert

Jacky Cheung! 歌神，果然是歌神..
If you had not been listening to him, you had definitely missed out a lot! Had been 2 crazy weeks for me.. Listening to him helped me relax.. I was watching youtube videos of him last night and realised that this "1/2 century" concert that I had attended was the best so far! His voice was just amazing! Gosh!

And how he had 5 sold out concerts in Singapore, Sydney's concert was in a smaller compound than Singapore indoor stadium. Nonetheless, in this cosy environment, in this non-asian country, this concert was a sold out! The atmosphere was fantastic! Everybody sang along to his songs... Then I started thinking.. As long as there're Chinese around, there would be people who know Jacky and loved him.

He sang so many songs that I was / am so mesmerised by him.. Well, I knew that watching his concert will let me go gaga over his songs for at least a month.. A few songs that are worth mentioning...

He had a mini musical in the start.. there was a story line which he sang to..
There was also a portion where he paid a tribute to the late Lydia Sum and did her famous split! Splitting in his 50s is truly amazing!

When he sang "她来听我的演唱会", the screen started showing couples in the audience.. and suddenly, there were kisses flying around and omg.. it's just so sweet!! The song sang about different stages of life. At 17, 25, 33, 40 etc, the couples on the screen also matched the age groups in the song.. The cheers were the loudest when the cameras went to an old couple, they should be in their 70s or 80s. It was so sweet... 
Gasp, the music of this song is written by a Singaporean! and not to mention, I love the lyrics of the song...

2 parts of the concert, he sang his classics.. Loved them! that's when you hear and see the entire audience singing to his songs..

"只想一生跟你走" had everybody singing to the chorus and waving their free, big lightstick in the same direction.

Among the 4 heavenly kings in the 90s, Jacky is always remembered for his wonderful voice.. Aaron Kwok is always remembered for his dances.. But who would have thought that 歌神 could still dance at his 50s?

as usual, his concert ended with "祝福". This time, with a different taste to it.
